Terms of Service
Last updated: October 19, 2026
Who you contract with
A business in the United Arab Emirates contracts with Mintech Marketing Consultants Co. L.L.C, Office DSO-HQ-D2-209, 2nd Floor, Dubai Silicon Oasis Headquarters, Dubai, United Arab Emirates (Dubai Department of Economy and Tourism, licence no. 1195006). Any other business contracts with DarT FZ-LLC, Ras Al Khaimah Economic Zone Authority (RAKEZ), Emirate of Ras Al Khaimah, United Arab Emirates (RAKEZ licence no. 45032124). In these terms, “we” means the company your business contracts with.
The service
StarsFirst lets a business send its customers a message (a text message, a WhatsApp message or an e-mail) that asks for a review on Google, followed by up to two reminders, and it includes the care of the Google Business Profile of that business as described below. A business can ask up to 300 customers in any 30 days; the reminders to those customers are included. By creating an account you agree to these terms on behalf of your business.
Subscription and payment
- The subscription costs $99 per month for one business with one Google Business Profile, or AED 299 per month for a business in the United Arab Emirates, and renews every month until it is cancelled.
- Payment is collected by Stripe with the payment method you provide.
- You can cancel at any time in your account under Settings, Billing. The subscription then ends at the close of the paid month, and everything keeps working until then.
- 30-day money-back guarantee: within 30 days of the first payment of your business you can refund that payment in full in your account under Settings, Billing, without questions; you can also write to us from the e-mail address of your account. The refund goes back to the payment method you used, and your subscription ends at once. The guarantee applies once per business, not to later payments or to a new subscription after a refund.
- Result guarantee: if your business has fewer than 20 new Google reviews 60 days after its first payment, and in those days we asked at least 60 of your customers (a first message went out to them), each following month is free until the 20 new reviews are there. New reviews are the number Google shows for your profile minus the number when you started; we read it once a week. A free month is applied to the next payment automatically and we tell you by e-mail. It applies to the first subscription of a business and ends when the subscription ends.
- Prices for businesses in the United Arab Emirates include 5% value added tax. Other prices include no value added tax as long as we are not registered for it. If we have to charge VAT there, or if the price changes, we tell account owners by e-mail at least 30 days before the change applies.
- After those 30 days, fees for a month that has started are not refunded, except where the law requires it.
- If a payment fails and is not resolved, the account stops sending messages.
Care of your Google Business Profile
- A full check when you start. We go through categories, service area, opening hours, services, description and contact details and correct what is missing or wrong.
- Your job photos, kept current. Send us photos of finished jobs, your truck and your crew. We add them to the profile and replace the ones that are out of date.
- Changes on request. Holiday hours, a new service, a bigger service area. Send us an e-mail and we update the profile for you.
- Replies to your reviews. We write a reply to each new Google review in your business name. Until Google lets us post for you, it comes ready to paste.
- A monthly look. Once a month we check that the information is still complete and correct, and tell you if something needs your attention.
If your business already has a profile, you add us as a manager. You remain the owner and you can remove us at any time. If it has none, you authorise us to create the profile for your business and to hold it as its owner on your behalf. Google sends the verification code to your business phone, and we start a verification only when you ask for it. You can take over ownership at any time, free of charge, also after the subscription ends; we transfer it to the Google account you name.
You authorise us to reply to the Google reviews of your business in its name. Each reply is written for that review; we do not offer anything in return for a review and do not ask anyone to change one. You can ask us to change or remove a reply. You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you give us. The profile is subject to Google's rules; we cannot guarantee how Google displays or ranks it.
Business cards
One set of 100 business cards with a QR code is included per account. The QR code points to an address of StarsFirst that forwards to the Google review link of the business for as long as the subscription is active. When the subscription ends, the address stops forwarding; it works again if the subscription is renewed. We send the cards to an address in the country of your business (the United States or the United Arab Emirates). A reorder requires a new set, which we may charge for.
What your business is responsible for
- You enter a customer only after the customer has agreed to receive the message.
- You enter mobile numbers accurately and only for your own customers.
- You do not offer anything in return for a review and you do not select customers by how satisfied they are.
- You comply with the laws that apply to your business, including the rules on text messages, WhatsApp messages, e-mail and the protection of personal data (in the United Arab Emirates, Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021 on the Protection of Personal Data).
- For the personal data of your customers you are the controller and we process it on your behalf, only to provide the service, as described in the Privacy Policy.
- You keep your login details confidential and remove users who leave the business.
Messages
The message texts are fixed. Each message names your business and tells the recipient how to opt out. A person who opts out is not contacted again for your business through StarsFirst. Delivery depends on mobile carriers and cannot be guaranteed.
For the people who receive them: StarsFirst sends a review request on behalf of a business you hired, only after that business has confirmed that you agreed to receive it. You get at most three messages per job (the request and up to two reminders). Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to a text or WhatsApp message, or use the unsubscribe link in an e-mail, to stop receiving messages; reply HELP for help, or write to support@starsfirst.com. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
Reviews
Whether a customer writes a review, and what the review says, is up to the customer. We do not promise a number of reviews, a rating, a ranking or additional revenue. Reviews are published by Google under Google's own rules; StarsFirst is not affiliated with Google.
Acceptable use
The service may be used only to ask a business's own customers for a review. Accounts that send messages to people who did not agree, or that are used for anything else, can be suspended.
Liability
The service is provided as it is. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages or lost profits, and our total liability is limited to the fees your business paid in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability for intent or gross negligence, or any liability that cannot be limited by law.
Your business is responsible for the customers it enters and for having their consent. If a claim is made against us because a business sent messages to people who had not agreed, that business compensates us for the resulting costs.
Ending the agreement
You can close your account at any time by cancelling the subscription and writing to support@starsfirst.com. We can end or suspend an account that violates these terms. When an account is closed, its data is deleted as described in the Privacy Policy, and we give up our access to your Google Business Profile.
Governing law and changes
For a business in the United Arab Emirates these terms are governed by the laws of the Emirate of Dubai and the United Arab Emirates, and the courts of Dubai decide disputes; for any other business by the laws of the Emirate of Ras Al Khaimah and the United Arab Emirates, and the courts of Ras Al Khaimah decide disputes. If the terms change, the new version is published on this page with a new date, and account owners are told by e-mail before a material change takes effect.
