Text message consent

Who sends the messages
StarsFirst is a service of DarT FZ-LLC. Small home-service businesses (plumbers, electricians, HVAC and other contractors) use it to ask their own customers for a Google review after a finished job. Each text names the business that did the job and ends with “Sent via StarsFirst”.
How a customer agrees (verbal opt-in)
When the job is done, the business asks the customer in person or on the phone. The script businesses are given:
Business: “We use StarsFirst to ask customers for a Google review. May we send you a text with a link to leave us a review for this job? It is one text and at most two reminders, only about this job, no advertising. Message and data rates may apply. Reply HELP for help or STOP to opt out at any time. Terms are at starsfirst.com/terms and the privacy policy at starsfirst.com/privacy. Is that okay, yes or no?”
Customer: “Yes.”
Business: “Thank you. You will get the text shortly.”
Only if the customer says yes does the business enter the customer in StarsFirst. The form cannot be sent without confirming the customer’s consent. StarsFirst records who entered the customer and when. If the customer says no, nothing is sent.

- Message and data rates may apply.
Stopping the messages
Reply STOP to any message and no further messages are sent to that number for the business. Reply HELP for help, or write to support@starsfirst.com. Mobile numbers and consent records are never sold or shared with third parties for marketing. See the Privacy Policy and the Terms of Service.
