How do customers receive the request?
WhatsApp sending is being switched on now. Until it is live, review requests go out by e-mail to customers who give you their e-mail address. Once WhatsApp is live, customers with a UAE mobile number get the request on WhatsApp, with nothing to change on your side. The message names your business and contains a link that opens your Google review form directly.
Do I need a CRM or scheduling software?
No. There is nothing to install or connect. When a job is done, you type the customer into a short form on your phone. If you already use software for scheduling or invoicing, this simply runs next to it.
What does looking after my Google Business Profile include?
A full check of the profile when you start, adding and replacing the job photos you send us, changes on request such as holiday hours or a new service, and a look once a month to see that everything is still correct. It is part of the monthly price.
How do the business cards work?
100 business cards with a QR code are included once per account. We make them for you when you sign up: enter your company name, your UAE phone number and your emirate, check the card and approve it, and we have them printed in the UAE and delivered to your business address. You can also download the print-ready file. A customer scans the QR code with the phone camera and lands on your Google review form. The code works for as long as your subscription is active, and if your Google link changes, the printed cards keep working.
Do you need the password to my Google account?
No. You add us as a manager of your Google Business Profile. You stay the owner and can remove us at any time.
Will more reviews really bring more jobs?
We cannot promise a number. What Google itself says is that more reviews and positive ratings can help your local ranking, and customers comparing businesses look at reviews first. You can estimate what additional jobs are worth to you with the calculator on this page.
Do you filter out unhappy customers?
No. Every customer gets the same link to the public Google review form. Sending only satisfied customers to Google is called review gating and Google does not allow it.
Can I offer a discount or a gift for a review?
No. Google does not allow reviews in exchange for incentives, and the message texts are fixed so that this cannot happen by accident.
How many messages does a customer get?
At most three per request: the first message and up to two reminders. Reminders stop when the customer opens the link. After a request, the same customer is not asked again for six months unless you shorten that period.
What if a customer does not want these messages?
Every message says how to opt out. A customer who opts out is taken off your list and is not contacted again. You can also mark a customer as "do not contact" by hand.
Does the customer need to agree first?
Yes. You confirm for every request that the customer agreed to be contacted about a review. Without that confirmation the request cannot be saved.
Can my office and my techs add customers too?
Yes. You can give everyone their own login at no extra cost. They can add customers; only you can change the settings and the billing.
When are messages sent?
Only inside the hours you set, in UAE time. The default is 9 AM to 8 PM. A request added late in the day goes out the next morning.
Is the price in dirham?
Yes. StarsFirst costs AED 299 per month for one business, charged monthly in UAE dirham through Stripe. There is no setup fee and no contract.
I have more than one location. How does that work?
Each location with its own Google Business Profile needs its own account, because reviews belong to one profile.
How do I cancel?
In your account under Settings, Billing. The subscription ends at the close of the paid month and no further messages are sent after that.
